Do you find comfort in watching cooking channels? In creating art? Have you ever wondered what it the life behind those videos is like?

Madeline Park shares her story behind the creation of Cafe Maddy, the projects and feelings that led her there and how she strives to make creative sanctuaries.

We discuss a great deal in this conversation from losing her job in the pandemic and her mental health journey to finding inspiration in the world around us. I love Maddy’s gentle cooking videos and talking to her had the same feeling. Within our conversation are invitations to playfulness in the creative process, creating balms for anxiety and how it is okay to have different iterations of your creative work.

As always, each guest also shares their personal advice on what to do if you are feeling lost on your own forest path.

If you enjoy listening, please share with a friend. I’d love for more people to be able to find the wisdom in these wonderful conversations!
